Infrastructure
Classrooms nature
Includes Environmental Information Centre and Farm - School. Tristan now works Hostel (1), the Farm's Over Capellà (2) (Olocau) and the Center Verd (3) Bétera. It is considering the extension and conversion of facilities in areas of Sant Esperit, La Pobleta, Cova Santa, Puzol, to complete a comprehensive network of this type. The Valencia Hiking Centre is negotiating with the Department of the Environment to create a School of Hiking and environmental education to the heart of Calderona in Tristan (1).
Recreation Areas
Recreational Areas and calls of "picnic" are located mainly in the area Portacoeli (1) and Esperit Sant (5), with strong pressure from visitors and a lack of regulation. There are also areas of Tristan (2), Lomas (4) and Palencia (3), which currently have no infrastructure and provision of effective surveillance and regular cleaning. A proposal to limit the number of visitors and control access and parking would be necessary to avoid past mistakes in the woods and Sant Esperit Portacoeli.
Sports Schools
The outdoor sports facilities needed for natural and artificial induction training practice: The Rocks of Guaita as climbing school (3), Cave and caves surrounding Soterranya as a school caving (1) or the children's traffic park Esperit Sant (2). No doubt there are other areas with potential to function as schools of these and other sports (mountain biking, paragliding, hiking,...).
Shelters, hostels
Prolonged stays in the mountains need appropriate places to stay overnight and develop educational programs. La Cueva Santa (1), Tristan (2), Vicent Peñafort Refuge (3), La Prunera (4), Las Lomas (5), Segart (6), Sant Esperit (7), and Estivella (8), are facilities that operate illegally and without the support of the Administrations. Improving the supply and conversion versatile accommodation centers, would ensure its existence. The CEV has called for the improvement of Refuge - School Peñafort Vicent. On the other hand, the Diocese has good facilities in the Sierra as Prunera Hostels, Estivella and Segart.
Historic Monuments
The past history of the Sierra gave us a good representation of the ancient inhabitants: La Cartuja de Vall de Crist (1), the Monastery of Portacoeli (2), the Convent of Sant Esperit (3), the monumental city of Sagunto (4) and the monastery of Puig (5) are examples to organize cultural visits. School currently operates a workshop at the Vall de Crist, guided tours and Sagunto Puig, and cultural excursions in the various locations. We review the archaeological sites not because of the lack of monitoring of these sites.
Campgrounds, camping areas
Operation of authorized campsites focuses on the upper reaches of Palencia (Height (1), Segovia (2)) also having the camping areas of the old icons in Portacoeli (3), Llentiscle (4), Las Lomas (5 ), Sant Esperit (6) and, besides, the beaches of Sagunto (7 and 8). The improvement of public facilities and additional infrastructure (restaurants, services, visitor information office ...) are essential to control and protect areas of mass influx. The lack of regulation of camping and camp by the Government leaves a dangerous vacuum that will suffer hiking groups and schools in the future.
Itineraries
Mountain Biking
A part of many circuits that people invent, it is common practice (testing and annual marches) to the itineraries in the area of Tristan - Berro - Rebalsadors (1) and the Segart - La Mola - L'Aguila - Sant Esperit (2 .) The steep slopes of the Sierra and proximity to the city by regular transport, allow the gradual increase in this sport.
Short-distance trails
This type of trail makes short trips and better possibilities of dividing stages. The PRV8 (4) crosses from Olocau (up by Tristan and Mina) to Estivella (through the Poll - Llentiscle, Deula, Serra, Barraix and Beselga).
European long-distance path
The call GR10 (3) crosses the peninsula from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. In Valencia the basis of the Iberian starts, down from Javalambre and Andilla, cutting across the Sierra Calderona, and building on the central axis of the main mountain (Eagle, Picaio, Gorgo, Rebalsadors, L'Oronet, Garbí ...). It is a great way to meet fully the Calderona and provides in stages overnight and areas to find food.
Ecological routes
The sites of the Calderona islands surrounded by housing estates, are a valid tool for educational institutions who want to deepen the field of environmental education. Ecological routes are currently operating in Olocau (5), Gorgo (6), the Falaguera (7), Mine (8), Sant Esperit (9) and Barraix - Umbria (10). The University, the School of Education, Most of the chaplain, the Centre of Professors, and Provincial Councils, Cooperatives and the same Valencia Hiking Centre by IPAAL, work scheduling an outdoor exits the hidden corners of the Sierra.
Cycling routes
The tradition of the peoples of the Calderona is an element that every Sunday attracts hundreds of cyclists and rocks that cross the mountains. Two mountain passes are a challenge for the cycle tourist who goes to the garden provided a breath of fresh air, escaping from the thousands of vehicles (the Chirivilla to Gátova (11) and Oronet Serra (12)) .
Cultural routes
Certain landmarks nestled in the valleys of the Sierra, form a unique place to organize cultural excursions: Vall de Crist in height (13), the strut (14) of wolves in Olocau, Portacoeli in Serra (15) and the amphitheater and Castillo de Sagunto (16), Valencia are offering heritage tours.
Pedestrian routes
Athletic Clubs organize different training gear that use the tracks and mountain roads, avoiding the roads and vehicles.
Horse riding
Hiking horses, little used in the Calderona, is one of the most booming activities in recent years. Are still making up new routes for the lovers of the equestrian and horse riding.
